IMEx-web has already processed more than 13,000 submissions and more than 100 researchers have downloaded the commandline version of IMEx.

Compound Microsatellite Extraction Module added

IMEx-web and Command-line IMEx can now also be used to extract compound microsatellites (cSSRs). The module extracts cSSRs with details about their location, statistics with different standardization levels etc.

IMEx webserver has so far processed more than 5000 jobs and is widely used by researchers.

Genome-level Extraction Mode added!

Using this mode, users can extract SSR's from 430 bacterial genomes (761 genome + plasmid sequences) and 1809 Viral Genomes (2551 DNA+RNA+other sequences). So, a total of 3312 sequences are hosted currently in IMEx-web.
